About The Position

Serving at our health system’s most advanced and complex cardiac catheterization laboratory, the UH Lake West Medical Center Cath Lab performs a variety of state of the art procedures giving our team a well-rounded experience in coronary, peripheral, and aortic interventions. Cardiac Cath Lab RNs may scrub, circulate or monitor cases. Working 4 - 10 hour days - 7 am to 5:30 pm Will take call - need to be able to get to the hospital within 20 minutes $10K - Sign on Bonus Looking for RN's with 1 year of Experience in either Emergency Department or the ICU Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Requirements

  • Must have a year of RN experience either in the Emergency Department of in the ICU preferred.
  • (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) or (MN) Master in Nursing (Required)
  • Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
  • Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
