El Dorado Springs Behavioral Health is a hospital located in Tucson, Arizona, specializing in acute inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for adults and seniors across Southern Arizona. The facility offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient psychiatric stabilization, medically assisted detox (MAT), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). These programs are designed to support individuals experiencing acute mental health symptoms, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions in a safe, structured environment. The state-of-the-art facility features over 100 private and semi-private rooms, providing a secure and therapeutic setting focused on comfort, dignity, and healing. Patients receive 24/7 medically supervised care, evidence-based therapy, medication management, and comprehensive discharge and aftercare planning. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
  • 21 years of age or older
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license

Responsibilities

  • Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
  • Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
  • Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
  • Follow hospital policy for medication administration
