More about Copper Springs Copper Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Avondale, AZ, part of the greater Phoenix metro area. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for adolescents and adults, as well as specialized programming for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Help for Heroes®. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
• CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
