Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Position Summary Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for behavioral health patients. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to support a safe, therapeutic environment and high-quality outcomes. Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in nursing Required
  • License: Current RN to practice in the state of KY
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
