About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health position at Baptist Health System is a full-time role focused on providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a behavioral health setting. Requirements

• Current RN licensure or temporary Kentucky work permit.
• Associate Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS certification.
• Successful completion of all competencies as identified on the departmental nurse competency grid.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and ensure patient care in a behavioral health setting.
• Assess and identify patient needs, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Delegate nursing care activities and provide supervision to nursing staff.
• Establish and maintain a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
• Perform technical aspects of care competently and follow hospital policies and procedures.
