About The Position

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Telemetry & Progressive Care team. This position is full-time and will require working night shifts. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions. Your role will also involve educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous experience in telemetry or progressive care nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry and progressive care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress in electronic health records.
