About The Position

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Internal Medicine unit (4GHJ). This position is full-time and requires working night shifts. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The RN will also educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Previous experience in an inpatient setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Internal Medicine or similar specialty
• Certification in a relevant nursing specialty
• Bilingual skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
