About The Position

Acts as a patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other member of the healthcare team and supporting the philosophy, objectives and goals of the facility. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients. You will be working in predominately the PACU side of the center with occasional shifts in Preop. No procedure room requirements. Develop and Grow Your Career! Position: Staff Nurse- Ambulatory Surgery Center Shift: Per Diem, Varied Start Times but mostly 8am or 9am, 8 hrs shifts but open to shorter; Ideally seeking someone 1-2 shifts per week. Pay Rate: $52/hour
Requirements
- Minimum of one year nurse experience in a Surgical Center, PACU, ICU, PACU, or Stepdown
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.. RN Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN degree
- Current PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact (effective 9/5/23).
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
- ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by specialty.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
Responsibilities

- Caring for patients on the pre/post op side of their procedure in the surgery center.
