About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Liberty Family Care involves providing routine, standardized nursing care for patients under the supervision of a physician. The RN will be responsible for direct nursing care, patient assessments, medication administration, and patient education, all while adhering to established policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or a state license to practice as an RN.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct nursing care within established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Assesses patients' needs and develops individualized plans of care.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing protocols.
  • Coordinates and documents patient care, including assessments, education, and safety.
  • Delegates tasks to healthcare team members based on patient needs and team member capabilities.
  • Communicates patient condition and concerns to other healthcare team members.
  • Educates patients and families on post-visit self-care tasks.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and caring environment for patients and staff.
  • Participates in educating and mentoring other care team members.
  • Completes compliance training and attends department meetings.
