About The Position

Adult inpatient behavioral health unit seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a structured inpatient psychiatric setting Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
• Effective communication, de-escalation, and teamwork abilities
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN license
• Primary Source Verification of license and registration through NYSED
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adults in an inpatient behavioral health environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
