About The Position
Join a dynamic and supportive team on O'Neil 5, our 30-bed acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, where you'll make a lasting impact in your patients' recovery journey. The patient population includes stable tracheostomy patients, heparin drips, post-stroke care, joint replacements, and limb salvage cases. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1 with strong support from an average of 3 patient care techs per shift. The average length of stay is 10 days, allowing time to develop meaningful patient relationships. The team environment is collaborative, focusing on patient-centered care with a focus on achieving measurable rehabilitation goals. Scheduling options include full-time nights (7p-7a) or evening/nights (a mix of 3p-11p and 7p-7a) with every third weekend rotation.
