Responsibilities

• Dictate discharge summaries as directed by the supervising physician.
• Assess patient health problems and needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
