About The Position

A Registered Nurse (RN) 3 monitors patient care, clinical standards, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Working under minimal supervision, this role manages projects and processes within the nursing group, provides counsel to the organization on patient-centered care and innovative nursing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Nursing Degree
• 2 years of cumulative experience as practicing RN
• Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• National certification in clinical specialty area
• BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care within the assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
• Reviews and develops nursing care plans to ensure alignment with patient needs and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Prepares protocols, examines clinical outcomes and makes adjustments to enhance patient satisfaction and care quality.
• Seeks guidance from senior management on complex issues to ensure coordinated care and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manages projects within the nursing group, implements best practices to support overall success in patient care initiatives and nursing excellence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
