About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced, adaptable Registered Nurses to join the brand-new Denver Resource Pool, supporting four primary Denver-area hospitals: Good Samaritan, St. Joseph, Lutheran, and Platte Valley. As a Denver Resource Pool RN, you’ll deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while floating among these four core facilities to support system-wide staffing needs. This role offers the stability of full-time employment with the added benefit of a 10% float differential, recognizing your flexibility and expertise. You’ll work alongside exceptional care teams across varying patient populations, building diverse clinical experience while maintaining consistent support from leadership and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
  • Willingness to float to all four Denver facilities: Good Samaritan Hospital St. Joseph Hospital Lutheran Medical Center Platte Valley Hospital
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across multiple units and hospital settings
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including providers, specialists, and support staff
  • Accurately document patient data, interventions, and responses
  • Adapt quickly to new environments, workflows, and patient needs
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards across all facilities
  • Deliver patient and family education to support safe and informed care transitions
