About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. The Float Pool is a vital part of each facility’s success, and you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional care across units.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of Utah (or compact license)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • RNs with less than 12 months of RN experience must obtain a BSN within 5 years of their start date

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)
  • Previous experience in acute care, critical care, or women’s services
  • Additional certifications related to specialty areas (e.g., ACLS, NRP, CCRN)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in various departments including Women’s Services, Labor & Delivery, Acute Care, and Intensive Care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective patient-centered care
  • Adapt quickly to different clinical environments, patient populations, and unit needs
  • Cross-train across multiple specialties (with potential for additional financial incentives)
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation to support patient outcomes and team communication
