About The Position

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurses at all levels to join our Resource Float Pool team. This intermittent position requires the individual to work 2 (8-hour) shifts per pay period. The selected candidates will be responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Perform comprehensive assessments, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes based on age-specific components.Coordinate care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.Administer medications and perform procedures per established policies and guidelines.Influence care outcomes by collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.Execute position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and innovative approaches to complex client care. As a member of the Resource Float Pool, the RN (across all levels) will: Demonstrate leadership, experience, and innovative approaches to complex patient care. Collaborate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. Deliver high-quality care across various patient care areas including the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Mental Health Unit, Medical/Surgical Units, Community Living Center/Cottages, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Exhibit knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care specific to patient needs.Provide peers with formal or informal feedback to promote improvement and professional growth. Share knowledge to support colleagues and ensure safe, quality nursing care. Foster a supportive and safe environment conducive to professional development for all healthcare professionals. Lead efforts to overcome care challenges between units in collaboration with management and within the Shared Governance Structure. Evaluate outcomes of evidence-based decisions and practice changes at the individual, group, and population levels. Be accountable for the documented outcomes at the program or service level, with broad and complex outcomes demonstrated at any organizational level within the facility.

Requirements

  • Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
