About the IVF Nurse Role and REI/IVF • The clinic offers a full range of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including IVF, egg retrieval, and embryo transfers, along with fertility preservation and genetic testing options. • The RN works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure successful IVF outcomes. Manage IVF treatment plans, medication administration, and coordinate procedures like egg retrieval and embryo transfer. • Provide patients with IVF protocol education, emotional support, and guidance throughout their fertility journey. Job Summary Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid RN license, with experience in women’s health, reproductive endocrinology, or OB/GYN nursing preferred.

  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
  • Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
  • Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
  • Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and medication protocols (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
