About The Position
Join Harborview Medical Center's teams of outstanding Psychiatry Registered Nurses (RN). Harborview Medical Center is a level one adult and pediatric trauma center as well as a regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community. The Psych Units at Harborview cater to adults aged 18-99 and include two acute care floors, a Psych Intensive Care Unit (Psych ICU), and a Psych Emergency Service (PES). The unit has a 21-bed capacity with 2:1 staffing ratios and 24/7 security. Our ICU patient population is primarily involuntary, and our nurses and staff are trained in de-escalation, seclusion, and restraint techniques, dealing with a broad range of complex mental health and medical diagnoses.
