About The Position
Join Harborview Medical Center's as a Psychiatry Registered Nurse. Harborview Medical Center is a Level I Adult and Pediatric trauma center as well as a regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community. Working in the Psych Emergency Service unit is a unique opportunity for a psych nurse looking to take on the challenge of something different every day. Our Nurses assist patients who arrive at the Emergency Room in Psychiatric crisis, maintain a safe environment, and perform patient assessment and triage. The PES is a 10-bed unit with 24/7 security. The schedule is 90% Nights (36 hrs./ week).
