About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Progressive Care position involves providing specialized care for patients who have undergone interventional cardiovascular procedures in a Level II Trauma center. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Compact State.
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with da Vinci robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) who have undergone interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-procedure care.
