Registered Nurse, Progressive Care, Full-time
About The Position
The University of Miami UHealth Tower has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in our Progressive Care Department. The Registered Nurse delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care. Oversees nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice. Prescribes, coordinates, evaluates and delivers patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices. Directs and guides patient and family teaching.
Requirements
- BSN Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- State of Florida RN license
- One (1) year of Medical Surgical experience.
- Any combination of relevant education, work experience, and/or certifications will be considered.
- Must have current BLS and ACLS certification.
