About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) with a strong cardiac patient population. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing high-acuity patients and be comfortable working with cardiac drips and telemetry. Patient Population / Diagnoses: STEMI / NSTEMI Chest Pain (C/P) Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) patients Patients requiring cardiac monitoring and interventions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a similar-sized facility
• Must have documented PCU experience in work history
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
• BLS & ACLS certifications (required)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for high-acuity cardiac patients
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips including: Milrinone Dobutamine Vasopressors
• Continuous telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• May be assigned to telemetry patients within the same unit (lower acuity as needed)
