Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves caring for patients who require close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions, typically those transitioning from intensive care or with complex medical conditions. The RN will provide high-quality care, manage advanced therapies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
Current RN license in [State].
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, telemetry, or critical care preferred.
Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and progressive care protocols.
Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, telemetry, or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to PCU patients, including cardiac monitoring and advanced assessments.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage complex treatment plans.
Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
