Provides both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsy, paracentesis and thoracentesis. And, also provides services for the placement of vascular access devices including PICC lines (peripherally inserted central catheter) for inpatients and outpatients. You provide and document direct and indirect patient care services that ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients. You provide patient education. You provide administration of medications and therapeutic agents vital to implement the treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care. You work alongside physicians on PICC insertions and cover procedures. You demonstrate a dedication of customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues. You manage complex and unpredictable patient care situations and are a nursing leader. You apply clinical knowledge regarding standard of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Requirements

  • California RN License
  • Direct patient care and strong IV skills
  • 2 or more years' experience in acute care setting
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • ICU experience preferred
