About The Position

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Heartland Imaging is currently seeking an experienced RN for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging centers located in Louisville, KY. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director, the Registered Nurse: Is a highly-skilled clinician utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery. Manages care at a highly-developed skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, & other members of the health care team. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. Heartland Imaging offers a full range of diagnostic and screening radiology services. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year as an RN in a clinical setting
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification may be required.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Ability to manage medical emergencies and contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
