About The Position

The position involves providing appropriate nursing interventions that align with the Plan of Care and established standards of practice. The nurse will incorporate the Physician's prescribed medical plans of care and conduct Hourly Rounds while adhering to service excellence standards. The role emphasizes fostering an environment of caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors. The nurse will utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to ensure the protection of both patients and staff, and will follow standard work protocols in caring for central lines, foley catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators (if applicable to the unit), restraints, and patients at risk for falls. Additionally, the nurse will contribute to the daily efficient performance of the department, serving as a charge nurse when assigned, and will be responsible for precepting novice employees.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nursing License verified by the LLR.
• BLS certification required for all nurses.
• Advanced Resuscitative Certification appropriate to patient population if serving in a Charge Nurse or PCS position.

Responsibilities
