About The Position

Join Our Skilled Surgical Team! At Baptist Health Louisville, we provide a full scope of surgical services (excluding organ transplants) across multiple specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, and thoracic. We are seeking a dedicated PRN Circulating Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team, providing high-tech, patient-focused care in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide high-tech, compassionate care while collaborating with a diverse surgical team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky RN License.
• Graduate from Accredited Nursing Program.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process for patients across all age groups.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Assess patients' physiological responses to surgery and manage care accordingly.
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Take personal responsibility for your role in the department’s success.
