Relocation Assistance (based on eligibility) As a nurse at Duke’s Inpatient Hospice Unit at Hock Family Pavilion, you will get to live out Duke's mission of caring for our patients, their loved ones, and each other in a very precious way. While working at Hock Family Pavilion, you will have the opportunity to truly care for people at their most vulnerable state of being as well as help them and their loved ones learn to let go in peace and comfort. Hock Family Pavilion offers inpatient hospice care in a home-like environment, which offers state-of-the-art care. It is composed of 12 private patient rooms, each with a private bath and patio. Shift: day and night shifts-7 AM-7 PM and/or 7 PM-7 AM General Description of the Job Class Independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Nurses hired into this limited benefited classification will commit to work a minimum number of hours in a designated inpatient nursing department. Compensation is a flat rate that is based on years of experience.
