Where You’ll Work Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus! To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Previous Preop experience or strong clinical background required Day to Day duties: Approx. 30+ cases per day Preparing patients for both inpatient and outpatient procedures RNs in Pre-Op/ PACU are responsible for pre op calls, PATs, transports in addition to the clinical aspects of perioperative care Unit does see a few recoveries from other departments but is rare OR Suites-17 PACU Bays- 22 Bays 36 Prep Op Beds Phase I & II recovered in same areas Schedule- 36 hrs/Week- Variable Shifts/Days of Week- Per surgical volume and current unit needs. TBD during interview with Manager Call Required-1 shift during the week (11p-730a) and one day during the weekend (7p-7a) per month 60Min Call Back radius

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
• One year experience preferred
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
• Previous Preop experience or strong clinical background required
