About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for their PreOp/PACU. Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth, TX is a joint venture between Tenet Healthcare, USPI, and the Baylor Scott & White network, serving Fort Worth residents and neighboring communities since 2014. It is a 30-bed acute care surgical hospital offering a wide spectrum of medical services, including an Emergency Department, a 30-bed inpatient unit, a 4-bed intensive care unit, and diagnostic imaging facilities. The facility is equipped with 14 state-of-the-art operating rooms, including da Vinci, ExcelsiusGPS, and Mako Surgical Systems, and specializes in areas such as ENT, Bariatric, Pulmonary, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Craniotomy. The hospital focuses on quality and service in a meticulous and patient-oriented environment. The Registered Nurse PreOp at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is responsible for implementing physician orders and providing continuous, quality nursing care for all patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas RN License
- Current BLS
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of the patient
- Demonstrates discretionary ability in establishing priority
- Uses nursing judgment in decision-making
- Able to recognize and intervene in stressful situations and perform effectively in stressful situations to fulfill position responsibilities
