About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star is hiring a Preop/Pacu Registered Nurse. This center is dedicated to delivering top-tier surgical procedures in a high-quality, service-oriented atmosphere, committed to excellence and patient safety. It is a proud joint venture with USPI and the Dallas Cowboys, fostering a collaborative setting that encourages growth and innovation. The facility boasts accreditation from The Joint Commission and features 6 Operating Rooms, including 4 Stryker integrated rooms and 2 larger rooms for total joints and spine procedures, enabling surgeons to excel in Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Total Joints and Spine procedures. The Preop/Pacu Registered Nurse provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies, ensuring safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The role supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
