Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse PreOp PACU to join the team! Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including: Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Spine. What You Will Do (Job Summary) - The Registered Nurse PreOp PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge. The regular work schedule for this position consists of variable hours, Monday through Friday, during the day shift. Specific start and end times may vary based on operational needs, but the role is generally expected to be performed within standard daytime business hours. Flexibility in scheduling is required to ensure adequate coverage and support for departmental operations. Monday-Friday work schedule NO call required NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
