About The Position
Eastgate Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center located in Cincinnati, Ohio. With four procedure rooms, the center provides high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical and procedural care primarily for GI and Endoscopies. Owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Gastro Health, Eastgate Surgery Center combines advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient setting. Role Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. Position may cross-train to Endoscopy Procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current RN license (unencumbered)
- Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery
- Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols
- Support patient education and post-op instructions
