About The Position

Pre-Op/PACU RN (Full-Time) Connecticut Eye Surgery Center South, Milford, CT The position is full-time, 36 plus hours/week, Monday – Friday. The individual will need to work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, preparation of patients for procedures, administration of eye drops, IV placement, post-anesthesia recovery, pain management and patient education.

Requirements

• Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in nursing assessment and skills
• be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• have a current license in the state of Connecticut to practice as a registered nurse
• Candidate must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, and an excellent communicator
• be able to prioritize multiple tasks
• have strong decision-making skills
• BLS and ACLS certification should be current
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Ophthalmology experience preferred, but not required
