Nurses in our pre-op/PACU Intervention Radiology area will be responsible for monitoring patients, pre and post catheterization and IR procedures. Our unit consists of 10 beds that covers Intervention Radiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and Cath Lab. We are seeking nurses with critical thinking skills and a desire to learn. Nursing skills gained: Working with both inpatients and outpatients. Our team gets experience with post-procedural patients, pulling arterial sheaths. Unit success/designations: We have very low turnover in this department and are very collegial. Unit culture/highlights: We are a very team-orientated department including nurses, physicians, and support staff.
