Position Overview: We are currently seeking a PRN PAT Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-operative assessment of patients, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from admission to surgery.
Requirements
- Active RN license in VA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments of patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding pre-operative instructions and post-operative care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and legal standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient record.
