About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner practices in an advanced role under the direction and supervisor of the Internal Medicine Physician(s). The Nurse practitioner will provide advanced care for the patients; including assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment and procedures. The Nurse practitioner works in conjunction with the Director of Inpatient Services, Nursing Staff, and medical staff to ensure the highest level of care for patients.

Requirements

  • Current TX RN License.
  • National Nurse Practitioner Certification.
  • Registered to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master's degree in Nursing.
  • BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Minimum of two years of Acute Care Experience.
  • Prefer at least two years experience in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced care for patients including assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment and procedures.
  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Inpatient Services, Nursing Staff, and medical staff.
  • Ensure the highest level of care for patients.
