About The Position

Valleywise Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Postpartum Nurse to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the critical recovery period after birth. As a Postpartum Nurse, you will support new mothers with physical and emotional recovery, assist with newborn care, and provide essential education to ensure a smooth transition home. You will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for families during this special time.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's or higher in Nursing.
• Must have at least one (1) year of recent acute care hospital RN experience.
• If completed the New Grad RN program at Valleywise Health, must have at least one year of Valleywise Health experience as an RN and be in good standing.
• Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
• Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
• Must have NRP upon hire or within three (3) months of hire or transfer for new grad/new to service.
