The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. Intermountain Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled PACU RN to join our perioperative team. You’ll support patients as they recover from surgery, working alongside a collaborative group committed to safe, high‑quality care. Local Attractions Within 5 Minutes: Fashion Place Mall shopping and dining Murray Park’s trails, gardens, and recreation areas Desert Star Playhouse Intermountain Medical Center’s Healing Gardens Local cafés, restaurants, and fitness studios Shift & Scheduling Expectations Fridays are required: Candidates must be available to work at least every other Friday. PRN flexibility: This position includes filling in for open shifts across the department as needed. Flexibility with other weekday shifts is expected. On‑call requirement: On‑call shifts may be day or night, depending on unit needs. The current requirement is three on‑call shifts per 8‑week schedule cycle (subject to change based on department needs). Holiday on‑call: One winter holiday and one summer holiday on‑call shift are required. Specific availability will be discussed further during interviews.
