About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position requires post-anesthesia care experience, particularly with C/Sections. Other relevant experiences include general and spinal anesthesia, arterial lines, blood pressure management with medication and infusions, and familiarity with Phase 1 and 2 recovery. Proficiency in EPIC and hemorrhage management, especially in postpartum populations, is also beneficial.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, Compact Accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PACU.
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA (copy needed), BLS-AHA (copy needed), PALS-AHA (copy needed).
• Social Security Number (SSN) required.
• Date of Birth (DOB) required.
• One reference from entire work history.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with post-anesthesia care for C/Sections.
• Familiarity with Phase 1 and 2 recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients, particularly those recovering from C/Sections.
• Manage general and spinal anesthesia cases.
• Administer and monitor arterial lines.
• Oversee blood pressure management with medications and infusions.
• Assist in Phase 1 and 2 recovery processes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient management.
• Handle hemorrhage management in postpartum patients.
