Registered Nurse - PICU
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role requires a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty, with recent pediatric experience, including travel experience being acceptable for the pediatric component. Candidates must have experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age. A permanent Ohio license or compact state license is mandatory, along with AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Knowledge of EKGs and inotropes is also required. Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is essential.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE 18 months of PERM experience in specialty applying for PRIOR to travel assignments
- MUST HAVE 18 months of recent Pediatric experience.- travel experience will suffice.
- Experience in epilepsy monitoring, specialized care of all ages up to 25 years.
- MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE IN HAND
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & PALS cert required.
- EKG's and inotropes.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
