Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • ED or Critical Care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of expert vascular access by utilizing advanced ultrasound guidance and clinical best practices to ensure first-stick success and minimize patient discomfort.
  • Orchestrate the hospital-wide "vessel health" strategy by consulting with multidisciplinary teams to select the most appropriate device, ensuring long-term treatment viability and reducing complications.
  • Advocate for patient safety and infection prevention by rigorously monitoring line health and educating bedside staff on evidence-based maintenance to eliminate hospital-acquired infections.
  • Empower clinical teams through specialized knowledge by serving as a primary resource for complex infusion needs, translating physician orders into precise, life-sustaining access solutions.
  • Execute high-precision PICC and Midline insertions with meticulous attention to detail, following strict sterile protocols to ensure high-quality outcomes and seamless care transitions.
