About The Position

Provides nursing care to the patient by assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation. Provides safe, knowledgeable, compassionate, educative, individualized, and goal orientated nursing care to all patients and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
• Previous experience as a registered nurse required
• Previous experience preferred in scrubbing, circulating, PACU, and admissions
• Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work well with patients, families, physicians, visitors, and coworkers
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all records and information
• Ability to orient new employees to the surgical center
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Meets BLS standards and renews every two years
• Meets ACLS standards after four months and renews every two years
• Meets PALS standards after six months and renews every two years
