About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Burruss Correctional Training Center – Forsyth, GA. Shift hours: PRN status with as-needed scheduling. Holiday coverage is required. One weekend per month is expected; additional coverage may be requested based on operational needs. Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor
- collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients
