At UCSF, the Cardiac Rehabilitation program is part of the Adult Ambulatory Department and closely aligned with the Heart & Vascular Center. This structure reflects how Cardiac Rehab functions as a medically supervised outpatient program that bridges specialized cardiac care with long-term self-management in the community. Opened in October 2019 in Millberry Union, Level B1, the program is staffed by experienced professionals who approach challenges, growth, and redesign with enthusiasm. UCSF Cardiac Rehab offers traditional in-person cardiac rehabilitation, telehealth options, and a hybrid model combining both approaches. The program also actively participates in clinical research to support advancements in cardiac rehab and patient care outcomes. At UCSF Health, our mission of innovative patient care, advanced technology and pioneering research is redefining what’s possible for the patients we serve – a promise we share with the professionals who make up our team.
