About The Position

This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months nursing experience.
• Mastery of RN I performance standards and accompanying competencies.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN).
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
• Pediatric Emergency Assess, Resuscitation and Stabilization (PEARS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pediatrics, oncology and/or clinic setting.
• Bilingual skills.
