About The Position

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Cardiac surgery/telemetry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans, cardiac rehabilitation, by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information during cardiac rehabilitation intervention.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
