About The Position

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $89.02 - $115.34 (Hourly Rate). Requirements

• Three years recent inpatient Pediatric Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience
• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
• Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
• Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery
• Proficiency in scrubbing surgical procedures
• Proficiency in circulating duties
• The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC knowledge.
