About The Position

Coordinate holistic care journeys by acting as the central hub for all clinical disciplines, ensuring every pediatric patient receives seamless, well-timed interventions. Execute life-saving physician orders with precision and speed, translating medical plans into immediate action to stabilize and treat young patients in critical moments. Monitor and advocate for patient health by vigilantly tracking conditions and communicating vital changes to the team, ensuring no shift in a child’s status goes unnoticed. Orchestrate safe transitions of care by assessing and managing discharge needs early, ensuring families feel confident and supported as they move from the ED to home or inpatient units.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License: Must hold a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Immediate certification is required to ensure the highest standard of emergency care for our infant and adolescent populations.
