About The Position

The position is for a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the Pediatric and Infant Special Care Unit, specifically for night shifts at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals. The role requires a commitment to providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to pediatric and ISCU patients. The nurse will utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, guide unlicensed assistive personnel, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position also includes weekend and holiday requirements as per level agreement.

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP Certification for the Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• A minimum of two years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics and Level III Infant Special Care required.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for Pediatric and ISCU patients.
